If you haven’t heard the story about Calum’s Road on the Isle of Raasay, in Scotland, then here’s an interesting link for more information. I first heard Calum’s Road on youtube. Someone had put up a video of the tune by Capercaillie, a Scottish band (see the video below). I did my best to transcribe it for mandolin.
